About Autism

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition characterized by challenges with communication and social skills, along with restrictive or repetitive behaviors.

Early indications of ASD can include delays in language, reduced social engagement, excessive rigidity around routines, and repetitive motor mannerisms.

There is presently no medical cure for ASD; however, with early and intensive therapy, many children can make significant positive strides in their communication, social abilities, and quality of life.

Current estimates indicate around 1 in 36 children in the US are diagnosed with ASD, with higher diagnosis rates in males than females.

Our behavioral therapists use reward-based approaches meant to be entertaining and motivating. Additionally, therapy duration and intensity are tailored to each child’s needs, typically ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week.

Our experienced staff will work with your family to discuss ways to promote positive behaviors and decrease behaviors that could be harmful for your child.

About ABA Therapy

ABA is an evidence-based therapy focused on improving behaviors related to core challenges of autism, such as social skills, communication, and flexibility. Learn more here.

Our ABA therapy is individually customized to help children with autism spectrum disorder master important abilities while managing tricky behaviors. We understand some skills that come naturally to other kids may be challenging for those with ASD. ABA therapy carefully breaks down these competencies into manageable components so they can be more readily learned and applied in daily life.

Our ABA approach uses positive reinforcement and rewards to motivate children as they achieve targeted behavioral and developmental milestones. Goals are broken into step-by-step objectives so progress feels attainable. It’s similar to an exciting educational adventuretour filled with accomplishments!

Decades of scientific study have shown ABA therapy helps children with ASD master skills while managing problematic behaviors. Our therapy applies evidence-based techniques tailored to how those with autism specifically learn best. The individualized methods continue proven effective at supporting positive development.

Our ABA services are led by licensed Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and supervised practitioner psychologists with PhDs or mental health licenses. They develop customized treatment plans for each child and provide ongoing direction to our trained direct care staff.

Our caring direct care providers implement the prescribed ABA therapies under the BCBA’s supervision. They work directly with children and parents across clinical, home, school, or other community settings. Through consistent evaluation and progress tracking, our team continually tailors the therapy approach to maximize skill building and development.

Detailed reporting on child progress is updated weekly and reviewed by the overseeing BCBA to ensure adherence to the treatment plan goals and consistency for each family.
