Living in Omaha with her children on the autism spectrum, she is deeply committed to supporting local families in every possible way.In her role, Jeanine works to provide holistic care for each child with autism, ensuring their support plan addresses all aspects of their lives through the diverse therapies offered at Heartwise. This can include ABA, speech, OT, and mental health services for children and their families. She coordinates the teams’ treatments across multiple settings—clinics, homes, schools, and the community—empowering comprehensive support tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Jeanine’s advice to parents facing a new autism diagnosis is heartfelt: “Allow yourself to grieve. Life changes after a diagnosis, no matter how prepared you think you are. Take care of yourself because you are your child’s strongest advocate. When you’re ready, seek out a supportive community; other parents and caregivers in the autism community can offer understanding, support, and at times levity in ways others may not be able to. Stay open to and accept help when you need it.”

Outside of work, Jeanine is a single mom to two boys who keep her inspired. Her sons enjoy swimming, and her oldest is passionate about martial arts. Their two golden retrievers add to the lively atmosphere at home. And if you catch Jeanine with free time (what even is that?), she’ll likely joke that her favorite hobby is stealing a quick nap.Jeanine’s heartfelt dedication to compassionate, individualized care for children with autism ensures that every family at Heartwise receives the holistic support they deserve. She is an invaluable leader on our team and an important advocate within our community.
